Best dodge dealership in the city!

We purchased our vehicle here for close to $90K, but after the purchase, our experience with the service department has been extremely disappointing. A part our vehicle needs has been on order for over two months. During that time, they called, messaged, and emailed us saying the part had arrived and booked us an appointment. We cancelled a weekend camping trip to make it, dropped the car off. Shortly after, they called to say they'd made a mistake and didn't actually have the part after all. Two months later, we're still waiting, still driving the vehicle in what we consider unsafe condition, and left wondering if that part was given to another customer instead. On top of this, we were charged $627 due to incorrect information given by their staff. When we called to sort it out, we learned there is no actual customer care line, only Sales, Service, and Parts. We were told a manager would call us back as the manager is in very important meeting, but no one did, and today call ended with the representative hanging up mid-conversation. We have another appointment booked for tomorrow to try again for that part we are waiting for two months, I'll update this review depending on whether we actually receive it this time and whether it's installed properly. I am so worry about our saftey!

Bought a Ram 1500 off of Michal and by far one of the best experiences I’ve had buying a truck in any dealership. He was great in explaining between the two trims which were Laramie and longhorn. We purchased a Jeep from Derrick Dodge in Edmonton, and from the moment we signed the paperwork, the experience went downhill. It took four weeks to receive our Jeep. During that time, we ended up making both a truck payment and a Jeep payment because our trade-in loan wasn’t paid off promptly, and no one communicated that this would happen. Communication throughout the entire process was terrible. We were told the Jeep only needed a minor repair for a small dent and scratch from transport. Three weeks later, I called the service department for an update, only to find out they had no idea it was even supposed to be booked in. To make matters worse, their system showed the vehicle had already been delivered three weeks earlier. Trying to get answers was frustrating. The salesperson we dealt with was difficult to reach, and when my wife called for an update, he responded with a rude attitude instead of trying to help. The final issue was that we were told the dealership had registered our Jeep. They hadn’t. I ended up receiving a ticket because it wasn’t registered, and the registration didn’t arrive in the mail until much later. We’ve purchased around five vehicles from different dealerships over the years, and this was, without question, the worst buying experience we’ve ever had. We expected much better customer service and communication.

Josh was amazing - he helped me get a great deal on a vehicle I was super happy with. I arranged a deal via phone as I live in Calgary; I put a deposit down and travelled up. When I showed up the process was super easy and smooth, I was greeted by Josh & finished making my payment with Andrew - both Andrew & Josh were super welcoming, friendly, and competent. The car was also great, came with a full tank of gas, and had been detailed so looked super clean. Overall the experience was 5/5, nothing to complain about.

Would not recommend! Worked out a deal over the phone, as I’m 3 hours from this dealership. I agreed to come pick up and vehicle 4 days later. The salesperson, sales manager and the finance manager all agreed on the day and time. During my 3 hour drive to this dealership, the finance manager called to advise me that the truck was in the shop. When I arrived at the dealership, I was told the vehicle needed work and would not be able to take it home, and they would deliver it to me. I was then rushed into the finance office, where they quickly had me sign all the papers to finish the deal. However, they did not provide me the Mechanical Fitness Assessment (MFA) before signing the papers ( which is against consumer laws in Alberta) After the deal was done, I was given the Mechanical inspection 5 days later. On top of this. When I was going over the bill of sale, they added the doc fee on top of the advertised price ( which is also against consumer laws in Alberta). After negotiations, they removed the doc fee. The lack of communication, high pressure sales tactics and poor customer service are reasons why I would not recommend this dealership.

It had been 8yr since I bought my last vehicle and without a doubt Anish at Derrick Dodge did an excellent job. He was thorough and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Dealerships aren't always a favorite place, but he really turned my opinions around. They even did an entire car reveal gathering when I picked up my new vehicle, worked around my schedule and were committed in a proper sale instead of not caring about what the client's needs truly were. Thank you for the help and getting me into my new Jeep Grand Cherokee!

​I just went to Dodge Derrick for an oil change at their Quick Oil Change, but they told me an appointment is required. I've been taking my vehicle to Dodge for 3 years, and this is the first location where I've been asked for an appointment for this specific service. On top of that, the staff was not friendly and lacked a helpful attitude. I recently moved nearby, so this was going to be my new regular dealership, but after this experience, I will definitely be going back to the other locations where I've been treated much better. I do not recommend this place at all.
