September 1, 2023 , Auburn Hills, Mich. – For 40 years, Chrysler has led the minivan segment — a segment the brand invented — and that decades-long legacy of innovation continues with the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica and 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid. The first minivan to offer both gas and hybrid powertrains and still the only one in the segment to offer a plug-in hybrid, the Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid is also the only minivan eligible for a $7,500 federal tax credit.

The Pacifica lineup includes the premium Pinnacle model, which features the most luxurious interior in its class. Pacifica delivers available all-wheel-drive (AWD) capability paired with Pacifica’s class-exclusive Stow ‘n Go seating, as well as the available Stow ‘n Vac system. The available FamCAM interior camera offers a bird’s-eye view of rear-facing child-seat occupants. Pacifica was first with available Amazon Fire TV integrated into the Uconnect Theater System. Pacifica offers the largest available sunroof in the segment and the most innovative seating and storage in its class, with seating available for up to eight passengers, as well as 243 different seating configurations for the Pacifica and 81 seating configurations for the Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid.

Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid, the first hybrid minivan, delivers more than 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) in electric-only mode, an all-electric range of more than 30 miles and a total range of more than 500 miles. Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid offers a no-compromise solution for consumers considering battery-electric technology, alleviating range anxiety and delivering peace of mind to customers through a Stellantis-designed, innovative dual-motor eFlite electrically variable transmission (EVT) paired with a specially modified version of the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 gasoline engine.

Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid is designed to offer a seamless driving experience, with no need for the driver to select between electric and hybrid modes. The Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid can help charge the battery when braking or stopping using the built-in regenerative braking feature. A Max Regeneration cluster messaging icon is standard for the Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid to keep drivers aware of the increased system regeneration.

Chrysler Pacifica continues to hold its status as the most awarded minivan seven years in a row with more than 175 honors and industry accolades. As the first to introduce the minivan and through six generations of the vehicle, the Chrysler brand has innovated 117 minivan firsts, including nearly 40 minivan-first features on the Pacifica.

The Road Tripper Package is available for the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Select and Chrysler Pacifica Touring L models.

• Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid will be available in two models for 2024, Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Select and Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Pinnacle
